We are currently seeking Apprentice Cabinet Makers to join our ever-growing team. This apprenticeship combines hands-on work with a four-year commitment to a training program, provided by a registered training institution. Therefore, the available positions require individuals to be self-motivated, eager to learn and committed to starting a career within the cabinet making industry.

Below is an overview of some of the skills and knowledge covered by the Certificate III in Cabinet Making (Kitchens & Bathrooms):
- Working safely in the construction industry
- Participation in environmentally sustainable work practices
- Communicating in the workplace
- Working collaboratively/in a team
- The use of hand and power tools for furniture-making
- Making measurements and calculations
- Reading and interpreting work documents
- Obtaining a White Card
While completing in-house training and fulfilling the requirements of the Cabinet Making Apprenticeship, the duties of apprentices include (but are not limited to) those listed below:
- Working with hands, hardware and machines (i.e., Panel Saw, CNC Machine, Edge Bander, Drawer Press, etc)
- Assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality cabinetry and joinery units in the workshop/warehouse
- Assisting in examining designs, drawings and parts to determine specifications
- Assisting in measuring, cutting and joining timber and other timber-based products
- Carrying out various general workshop duties including, but not limited to, tidying, cleaning and organising
- Reporting progress to a supervisor/manager
Please note that this role can be physically demanding as individuals are on their feet for most of the workday.
